Madonna, deadmau5 Twitter battle over drug on eve of release of ‘MDNA’
On the eve of the release of Madonna’s new album "MDNA," the Material Girl found herself in a Twitter feud with one of the hottest DJs in the business.

Performance Times For Ultra Music Festival 2012
Even though Ultra Music Festival's lineup and set times are conveniently and instantly available via the fest's official app, we here at Crossfade wanna highlight three two reasons why all y'all beat freaks might need an easily printable, plain-text version of the UMF sked:
1. You can't afford a fucking iPhone or Android 'cause you spent all your cash on a three-day festival pass and a big bag of raver snacks.
2. Cell service sorta sucks at Ultra. Just ask anyone who's ever tried to tweetcast a trip to the port-a-potty at UMF.
3. Each day at Ultra will last about 12 hours. You're gonna forget to charge your phone UPDATE: Well, actually, the 2012 fest's got a whole bank of phone recharging stations. These people really have their shit on lock.
So, uh, you should probably trust the fate of your Ultra experience to mobile technology. Still ... See the cut for Ultra Music Festival's full three-day schedule.

Biscayne Boulevard Closed Thursday Through Monday for Ultra
Ultra Music Festival is taking it to the streets -- literally. A few blocks of northbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard will be closed Thursday night through early Monday morning. Plan your route accordingly, and as a favor to yourself and the drivers who can't avoid it, consider staying out of the area entirely.
Yes, Kraftwerk might play, but Biscayne certainly won't be their ideal autobahn.
The northbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard between SE First Street and NE Third Street will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday and will not reopen until 5 a.m. Monday.
For the past few years the ever expanding Ultra Music Festival had taken place in the larger Bicentennial Park, but museum construction has forced the festival to relocate back to the smaller Bayfront Park. The lanes are being closed off to help accommodate the crowds, per the press release from the Florida Department of Transportation:
Ultra-goers: Consider public transportation, carpooling, or, if you're close enough, walking or riding a bike. Regular commuters: Consider some of the same options or a different route. Area residents: Maybe it's a good weekend to go visit Grandma in Sarasota.

In order to accommodate a larger footprint for increased capacity, ULTRA is transforming and customizing Bayfront Park in a way never seen before for an enhanced music experience. With ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL being a major music event in South Florida, the local economic impact to the city of Miami is unprecedented for a concert and is an important piece to Miami's continued rise to the top of the list as one of the world's fastest growing, and most important metropolis and tourist destinations. Ticket holders coming from all 50 U.S. States and more than 72 countries and territories are expected.Northbound traffic will instead be rerouted through the southbound lanes, which will cause a squeeze in both directions.

Scalpers Targeting Electric Music
Hot on the heels of the sold out Coachella and sold out first three tiers of tickets at Burning man, the first within a week and the latter in a matter of hours, comes news that the Sasquatch Festival has sold out in under a week as well. These are all record breaking times, and scalped tickets are already showing up on Ebay for two to three times their face value. Stories are coming in about people buying 1000 tickets at a time for resale.
For those of us who can not afford to pay through the nose for tickets that are already expensive, here’s what you can do-
1. Figure out which Event’s you want to go to and buy your ticket on the day the tickets go on sale. Do not wait, as the likelyhood of scalpers beating you to the punch after a day is pretty high
2. Dont feed the trolls- look for tickets on messageboards and through craigslist if you can’t get ahold of tickets on the day of sale. The truth is that middle men are holding a bunch of tickets to events that they’ll never use. Dont let yourself feel desperate about missing a show- most large festivals sport the same line up.
3.If you’re really desperate to hear your acts play, then consider saving that extra money and buying a plane ticket to a festival in another city or a road trip to hear what is generally the same line up, just in a different state.
4. Ask around with friends- a lot of times people will end up with an extra ticket that they will be willing to sell or give to a friend in need.
5. Above all, keep your cool! there are tickets a plenty, its just up to you to not get exploited.
6. Keep an eye on the face value of tickets, especially for event’s like burning man. Its a major no no within the burner community to sell tickets above their tier price. If someone is trying to exploit, try to get a picture or write down the number of the ticket and report it to the Burning Man Organization.
