Bloody Beetroots new single
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, the mask wearing Italian producer behind Bloody Beetroots, is a man of many talents.
Whether taking to the decks with FX man Tommy Tea, rocking out as Bloody Beetroots Deathcrew 77, his electro-punk band with drummer Battle and Tea, or engaging in what he calls the “cultural-musical movement” of Church of Noise, his new project with Dennis Lyxzén of Swedish hardcore punk-pioneers Refused and The (International) Noise Conspiracy, his anarchic attitude and sound has won him fans from Steve Aoki to Etienne de Crecy.

Kaskade "Freaks Of Nature " Coney Island Review
There were only three items on Kaskade's mind according to his Twitter feed: "Eat hog dog, ride Cyclone, smash it." The final item on that to-do-list was ceremoniously checked off at Brooklyn's MCU Park, where the Chicago-born DJ and electronic dance musician brought his Freaks of Nature tour to more than 8,000 fans on a cool summer night in Coney Island.
Fresh off his performance at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas, Kaskade performed against the backdrop of the famous Brooklyn boardwalk renowned for its oddities and curiosities; he filled the minor league baseball stadium with the soaring vocals of Mindy Gledhill from his single, "Eyes," before dropping the bass and delivering more than 90 minutes of adrenaline-fueled house music.
Playing to an undulating sea of fluorescent shorts and neon sunglasses, Kaskade stretched and twisted tracks like "Lessons In Love," featuring Neon Trees, and the song "It's You, It's Me," off his 2006 album, Here & Now. Fans positioned near center field huddled onto the baseball diamond and filtered into the stands. Dance music has always been as much about what happens on the floor as in the booth or onstage, and few understand this as well as Kaskade, who illuminated and enveloped the crowd with reams of confetti, gigantic white balloons, numerous LED screens and an array of stage lights, all on a scale that matched the massive beats.
With a career that spans the rise of EDM in the United States, Kaskade has positioned himself as one of the preeminent DJs in a genre crowded with his European counterparts and dubstep newcomers. He recently closed out a night at Coachella with a rousing set opposite Radiohead and performed a key slot at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
One of Kaskade's stated goals is to move dance music from the clubs into open-air festival venues, and his Freaks tour went lengths to bring a high-voltage house performance into the 21st century. Positioned on each side of the stage, LED screens were synchronized with vaguely psychedelic images of flowers, smoke, and intricate cityscapes – a strange and beautiful contrast to the Ferris wheel and 85-year-old Cyclone roller coaster off in the distance.
Before bidding goodbye to his "beautiful friends," the DJ especially thanked those who waited outside at a lengthy will-call line. Next up: a performance at Montreal's Olympia Theatre on Saturday, where he'll be able to duplicate the excitement but will have to forgo the ocean breeze and the fireworks. "Only in New York," Kaskade beamed from the stage.by joe tacopino

Magnetic Man - Skrillex And Mumford & Sons Are The Artists Of This Generation
Magnetic Man's Benga told NME that Skrillex, Mumford & Sons and he and his bandmates are "the artists of this generation."
The producer is a part of the group along with Skream and Artwork. When asked who the artists of this generation were, he said: "Us obviously, Skrillex and Mumford & Sons", to which his bandmate Skream added: "What a weird group of people, can you imagine us all in a room together?"
He also said that he has turned his back on dubstep. He continued: "I've been seen to say that dubstep is the music of our generation, but that's now changed. I believe now that certain artists are the future, I don't want to be any part of dubstep anymore."
Skream added: "I think it's safe to say that dubstep's the music of this generation, it's been the fastest genre to become solidified. The only reason dubstep has a bad rep is because it's become a trend."
Meanwhile, Benga opened up about the group's future plans. He said: "We hope to have a single out before this year ends and we've started writing a new album, which will hopefully be out at the start of next year. I'm just predicting. It's got Prince, James Blake, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz. And then on my solo album I've got Madonna, Aviici, Justin Bieber, Flo Rida."

Deadmau5 Says Pauly D Has no Talent
Deadmau5 has made clear his dislike of Jersey Shoreman turned DJ Pauly D before, but he certainly isn't afraid to continue his beef with the celebrity personality. According to TMZ, while shooting a music video in Los Angeles over the weekend, the DJ was asked if he thought Pauly D had any real talent. He promptly responded, "No, not really."
Though he did backtrack a little bit, he essentially stood by his position. Then again, in a blog post last week he sarcastically observed that, "since Pauly D and his hair obviously has no need for my advice, let me elaborate pass it along to someone who's actually serious about music."

Swedish House Mafia Calling it Quits: Dance Music Titans Announce Upcoming Tour Will Be Their Last
Swedish House Mafia has announced that their upcoming tour will be their last.
"Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey," a statement on their website reads. "We came, we raved, we loved."
The electronic dance music trio of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell is perhaps as responsible as anyone for pop house music exploding in the United States in the past two years. The three Swedes have headlined festivals from Coachella to Electric Daisy Carnival and even sold out Madison Square Garden in the first-ever all-DJ concert to take place at that storied venue.
Angello and Ingrosso were childhood friends who came of age together in Stockholm's DJ scene. Later they met Axwell and eventually made their group official in 2008. They're the group behind hits like "Save the World," "Miami 2 Ibiza," and "One," and received a close up in their first documentary, "Take One." A second documentary is reportedly in the works.
The boys will play the 65,000-person Milton Keynes Bowl in England on July 14 before heading to Ibiza and Sweden's Friends Arena. More dates will be announced in August.by kia makarechi
