Swedish House Mafia Calling it Quits: Dance Music Titans Announce Upcoming Tour Will Be Their Last

Swedish House Mafia has announced that their upcoming tour will be their last.
"Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey," a statement on their website reads. "We came, we raved, we loved."

The electronic dance music trio of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell is perhaps as responsible as anyone for pop house music exploding in the United States in the past two years. The three Swedes have headlined festivals from Coachella to Electric Daisy Carnival and even sold out Madison Square Garden in the first-ever all-DJ concert to take place at that storied venue.

Angello and Ingrosso were childhood friends who came of age together in Stockholm's DJ scene. Later they met Axwell and eventually made their group official in 2008. They're the group behind hits like "Save the World," "Miami 2 Ibiza," and "One," and received a close up in their first documentary, "Take One." A second documentary is reportedly in the works.

The boys will play the 65,000-person Milton Keynes Bowl in England on July 14 before heading to Ibiza  and Sweden's Friends Arena. More dates will be announced in August.by kia makarechi
